Open a budget driver file

There are many drivers available in Budget Planning and Performance Reporting. You can access most of them from the Bud Admin task pane.

To open budget driver files:

1. In the Budget Admin task pane, go to the Budget Assumptions section.
2. Click the driver set that contains the driver you want to open:
   • Access NY Budget Assumptions (next year's budget drivers)
   • Access CY Budget Assumptions (current year's budget drivers)
3. Double-click the driver.

4. Set the refresh variables:

   NOTE: Depending on the purpose of the driver, not all drivers include the ability to select variables.

   1. In the Main tab, click Refresh Data, or press F9.

   2. In the Refresh Variables dialog, for each variable option, click Choose Value.

   3. In the Choose Value dialog, select one or more variables, and click OK.

      TIP: If the dialog displays a large number of variables, use the Select All or Clear All options to select or deselect all the selections in the check boxes. If you do not select check boxes for any variables, the system automatically includes all of the variables in the driver. If you click Cancel, no variables are included in the driver, and it displays blank.

5. Go to the Main tab.

6. Click Save.
